Guillerm de Montgrí conquered Ibiza and Formentera with Jaume I and Pere de Portugal in 1235. He also participated in the conquest of Palma de Mallorca. His brother was a governor of Mallorca. He was an arquebisb.He was a very important person from history in our island. In Ibiza, there is a monument of Guillem de Montrí.
